The Game Explained

What Is Capsa Susun?

Capsa Susun — literally "stacked cards" in Indonesian — is a 13-card stacking game derived from the Chinese card game Big Two (also known as Pusoy Dos in the Philippines). Each player receives 13 cards from a standard 52-card deck and must arrange them into three separate hands: a 3-card top hand, a 5-card middle hand, and a 5-card bottom hand.

The fundamental constraint that makes Capsa Susun intellectually demanding is the ranking hierarchy: the bottom hand must be the strongest, the middle hand must rank second, and the top hand must be the weakest. Building the highest-value bottom hand is straightforward — the challenge lies in optimising all three stacks simultaneously without violating the ranking order. A misset hand results in an automatic penalty.

At naga54, Capsa Susun is played player-versus-player across up to four simultaneous seats. Once all players have set their three stacks within the allotted time, hands are compared row by row — top against top, middle against middle, bottom against bottom. Winning two out of three rows beats your opponent; sweeping all three earns a bonus multiplier.

The game has deep roots in Indonesian social culture. Saturday evenings in Jakarta, late-night sessions in Medan and Bandung — Capsa Susun is the card game Indonesian players turn to when they want skill, strategy, and social competition all in one. naga54 brings that experience online, available every hour of every day, with instant deposits and sub-3-minute withdrawals to all major Indonesian banks and e-wallets.

Capsa Susun at a Glance
  • Deck: Standard 52-card deck, no jokers
  • Players per table: 2 to 4 simultaneous players
  • Cards per hand: 13 cards dealt to each player
  • Stack structure: Bottom (5) > Middle (5) > Top (3) in descending strength
  • Win condition: Beat opponent across majority of the three rows
  • Special bonus: Royalty hands (Dragon, Three Flushes, Straight Flush in all three rows)
  • Min. buy-in at naga54: Rp 1.000 (micro tables)
  • Max. buy-in at naga54: Rp 10.000.000 (VIP tables)
Skill Over Luck

While the 13 cards you are dealt are random, how you arrange them is entirely a skill decision. Two players with identical card distributions can produce wildly different outcomes based on stack construction choices. This is what separates Capsa Susun from purely luck-driven games and why dedicated players at naga54 invest significant time in studying optimal arrangement strategies.

Capsa Susun Hand Rankings

From the unbeatable Royal Flush down to a High Card — understand the full ranking hierarchy before building your stacks at naga54.

Rank Hand Name Description Valid In Tier
1 Royal Flush A-K-Q-J-10 of the same suit Bottom / Middle S-Tier
2 Straight Flush Five consecutive cards of the same suit Bottom / Middle S-Tier
3 Four of a Kind Four cards of the same rank plus one kicker Bottom / Middle S-Tier
4 Full House Three of a kind plus a pair Bottom / Middle A-Tier
5 Flush Five cards of the same suit, non-sequential Bottom / Middle A-Tier
6 Straight Five consecutive cards of mixed suits Bottom / Middle A-Tier
7 Three of a Kind Three cards of the same rank All three rows B-Tier
8 Two Pair Two separate pairs plus one kicker Bottom / Middle B-Tier
9 One Pair Two cards of the same rank All three rows C-Tier
10 High Card No matching ranks or suits — highest card wins All three rows C-Tier
The Top row is limited to 3 cards — only Three of a Kind, One Pair, or High Card are valid there. Attempting to place a 5-card hand in the Top row will result in a misset penalty at naga54 tables. Always double-check your arrangement before confirming.

Bonus Multipliers

Royalty & Special Hands

Certain rare arrangements at naga54 trigger automatic bonus payouts, regardless of what your opponents hold.

🐉
Dragon Hand
A sequence of all 13 cards from Ace through King, one per rank. The rarest arrangement in Capsa Susun — achieving a Dragon Hand at naga54 triggers an instant automatic win against all opponents at the table, plus a substantial bonus multiplier applied to the entire pot.
♠️
Three Straight Flushes
When all three of your rows — top, middle, and bottom — are valid straight flushes simultaneously. An extraordinarily rare configuration that earns a 3× pot bonus at naga54 VIP tables and a standard bonus multiplier at regular tables.
🃏
Three Flushes
All three rows are suited flushes (top row flush requires all three cards of the same suit). A beautiful arrangement that rewards players who receive a heavily suit-concentrated deal. Earns a 2× pot bonus at naga54 tables.
👑
Six Pairs
Arranging all 13 cards as six pairs plus one remaining card across your three rows. A versatile special hand that scores a bonus regardless of how your individual row ranks compare against opponents.
🎯
Full Colored (All Red / All Black)
All 13 cards are of the same color — either all red suits (Hearts and Diamonds) or all black suits (Spades and Clubs). Scores a color bonus on top of normal row comparison results at naga54.
Three-Row Sweep Bonus
Not a special hand arrangement, but a gameplay bonus — when you beat a single opponent across all three rows simultaneously (3-0 sweep), naga54 applies a sweep multiplier to that opponent's contribution to the pot. Winning sweeps consistently is the fastest path to profit.

How Points Work

The Scoring System Explained

Capsa Susun at naga54 uses a unit-based scoring system. Each row comparison between two players produces a winner and a loser — the loser pays the winner one unit per lost row. Win two rows, collect two units; sweep all three rows, collect three units plus the sweep bonus.

In a four-player game, you compare your hand against each of the other three players independently. A maximum possible score in a single round is 9 units — three units from each of three opponents, each being swept 3-0.

Example: In a four-player Rp 10.000 per unit game, a full 3-0 sweep of all three opponents earns 9 units × Rp 10.000 = Rp 90.000 gross in a single round. Special-hand bonuses stack on top.
Row Contribution to Total Score
Bottom Row (strongest hand)Highest impact
Middle Row (second hand)Medium impact
Top Row (weakest hand)Base impact
Sweep Bonus (3-0 win)+25% multiplier
Special Hand Bonus (Dragon / Royalty)Up to +300%
Misset Penalty

If your bottom hand ranks lower than your middle, or your middle ranks lower than your top, your hand is declared misset. You automatically lose all three rows against every opponent at the table — no comparison is made.

Time Limit

Each player at a naga54 Capsa Susun table has 60 seconds to arrange their 13 cards into three stacks. Failure to confirm your arrangement within the time limit results in an automatic random arrangement — strongly inadvisable in competitive play.

Play Smarter

Capsa Susun Strategy Guide

Capsa Susun rewards players who can evaluate 13 cards quickly, identify the optimal split, and execute under time pressure. These seven principles underpin every winning session at naga54 — from the Rp 1.000 micro tables popular among students in Yogyakarta and Bandung to the Rp 1.000.000-buy-in VIP rooms favoured by high-stakes regulars in Jakarta and Bali.

Core principle: Never sacrifice your bottom row to strengthen your top row. The bottom is worth the most per unit — protect it first, then optimise the remaining eight cards across middle and top.
1
Lock the Bottom Row First

Always identify your strongest possible 5-card bottom hand before touching anything else. Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, or Full House — whatever the best hand your 13 cards can produce, that belongs at the bottom. Only after locking the bottom do you work backwards through middle and top.

2
Avoid Misset at All Costs

A misset loses you all three rows against every opponent simultaneously. When in doubt between two arrangements, choose the one that guarantees legal stack order even if it is slightly weaker overall. One misset in a four-player game costs more than three consecutive lost rounds by normal competition.

3
Target Sweep Opportunities

A 3-0 sweep pays a bonus multiplier. When your cards allow for dominant hands across all three rows, prioritise building for the sweep rather than marginally improving one row at the cost of another. Consistent sweeping against a single opponent is more profitable than split wins across three.

4
Use the Top Row Wisely

Most players focus on bottom and middle, leaving the top row as whatever remains. The sharper play is to actively push a strong pair or a Three of a Kind to the top row when possible — winning the top row consistently against all opponents generates one free unit per round that weaker players leave on the table.

5
Recognise When to Chase Special Hands

If your 13 cards are close to a Dragon Hand or Three Straight Flushes, it may be worth sacrificing row strength across the board to chase the special-hand bonus. However, calculate the probability honestly — attempting a Dragon Hand with 11 of 13 cards in sequence is worthwhile; attempting it with 8 is a leak.

6
Manage Suit Distribution Awareness

Mentally track suit distribution as soon as your 13 cards are dealt. A heavy Hearts distribution suggests Flush or Straight Flush potential. Recognising suit clusters early in the arrangement phase — rather than in the final ten seconds — is a key differentiator between intermediate and advanced players at naga54.

7
Pace Your Session With a Clear Stop-Loss

Capsa Susun rounds resolve quickly and the pace can make it easy to lose track of total session exposure. Set a stop-loss before your session — a sensible guideline is to leave the table when your stack falls to 40% of your original buy-in. Re-enter fresh rather than chasing losses on tilt. naga54's responsible gaming tools can help enforce this automatically.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Capsa Susun is a 13-card stacking game played with a standard 52-card Western deck, where the objective is to build three ranked hands (bottom, middle, top) that must each be stronger than the one above. Domino QQ, by contrast, is played with a set of dominoes and involves pairing and matching tile values. Both are player-versus-player games available at naga54, but they draw on entirely different strategic skill sets. Capsa Susun rewards hand-ranking knowledge and arrangement speed; Domino QQ rewards understanding of tile probability and betting patterns.
Yes. All Capsa Susun tables at naga54 are fully accessible through your mobile browser on Android and iOS devices — no app download required. The card arrangement interface uses a touch-optimised drag-and-drop system so you can organise your three stacks smoothly on any screen size. Simply open naga54.bet in your mobile browser, log in, and navigate to Capsa Susun. A stable 4G or Wi-Fi connection is recommended to ensure you can confirm your arrangement comfortably within the 60-second timer.
If the 60-second arrangement timer expires before you confirm your three stacks, naga54's system will automatically finalise your hand using the current card positions on screen. If you have not moved any cards from the default dealt order, the system will arrange them automatically using a basic algorithm — this rarely produces an optimal arrangement and occasionally results in a misset. We strongly recommend arranging and confirming your hand with at least 10 seconds remaining on the clock. Practice tables are available to help you build the speed needed for consistent on-time confirms.
Withdrawals from your naga54 account to BCA, BRI, BNI, Mandiri, and CIMB Niaga accounts are processed in under three minutes on average, around the clock. E-wallet withdrawals to OVO, DANA, GoPay, ShopeePay, and LinkAja follow the same sub-three-minute target. naga54 does not operate batch withdrawal windows or overnight holds — your request is processed as soon as it is submitted, 24 hours a day including weekends and Indonesian public holidays.
Yes. New naga54 members who register and make their first deposit selecting Capsa Susun as their preferred game category are eligible for the card game welcome bonus. Existing members benefit from a weekly cashback on net Capsa Susun losses, a referral bonus for introducing new players from anywhere in Indonesia, and seasonal promotions tied to events such as Ramadhan, Idul Fitri, and Indonesian Independence Day on 17 August. Full bonus terms and wagering requirements are detailed on our Terms & Conditions page.
A misset hand occurs when the ranking order of your three stacks is violated — that is, your bottom hand ranks lower than your middle hand, or your middle hand ranks lower than your top hand. For example, placing a Full House in the middle row and only a Straight in the bottom row is a misset. When a misset is detected, you automatically lose all three rows against every opponent at the table — the single costliest outcome in Capsa Susun. To avoid it, always build from the bottom upwards: lock your strongest bottom hand first, then arrange the middle from the remaining eight cards, and let the top row form from whatever three cards remain. naga54's interface highlights misset violations in real time during the arrangement phase so you can correct them before confirming.
Yes. naga54 runs scheduled Capsa Susun tournaments on a weekly basis, with fixed buy-ins and announced prize pools distributed among the top finishers. Special event tournaments with boosted prize pools are held during major Indonesian holidays and cultural events, including Ramadhan, Idul Fitri, and Indonesian Independence Day. Tournament schedules, buy-in levels, and prize pool structures are published in the naga54 promotions section. All registered members aged 21 and above are eligible to participate.
